Ronaldo bid farewell to ‘super agent’ Mendes

Jorge Mendes no longer represents Cristiano Ronaldo, when disagreements about a new destination after CR7 left Man United.

Jorge Mendes will no longer represent Ronaldo

The Portuguese newspaper Pblico and the French newspaper L’Equipe report that Ronaldo’s longtime agent, Jorge Mendes, is leaving his position. Their partnership appears to have ended sometime in November.

The reason is said to be Mendes’ disapproval of Ronaldo’s decision to give up about $ 19 million when terminating his contract with Man Utd seven months early.

The conflict between the two also increased sharply, as Mendes increasingly reduced his position in Ronaldo’s issues and decision-making.

Therefore, the 56-year-old “super agent” is said to no longer represent Ronaldo – the role he has taken on since the Portuguese star left Sporting Lisbon to join Man Utd in 2003.
